Projects

The following projects are are important data sources and are administered by EVAC.

Rainfall Estimates

SRDC produces gridded rainfall estimates and error analyses for validation use. These products are being upgraded and will be accessible via a new form-based interface. You can access the current products below.

GPCP Validation

As a subset of the Global Precipitation Climatology Project, SRDC validates GPCP products.

V2 Product (2.5 x 2.5 degree, monthly)

These validation images include the final merged satellite-gauge product (PSG) and the intermediate satellite-only estimate (PMS). In areas where gauge data is not used the PSG and PMS estimates will be identical.

1DD Product (1 x 1 degree, daily)

Emphasized regions are considered to be operational at this time, and validation products will be updated as new GPCP products become available. New regions and new validation products are under development.
